No civilian nuclear program can explain the Iranian nuclear program
Wow! Even the French are turning to American style, blunt diplomacy. Calling a spade a spade.
So the question is, will Iran fold?. If it won't, will the West force the issue and disarm Iran?
France's foreign minister said Thursday that Iran's nuclear program was a cover for clandestine military activity, in an unusually direct attack on Tehran for a European diplomat.

I saw an Islamic magazine article yesterday, describing Iran's preparations for military intervention by the West. Contacts had been made between Sunni & Shia groups, in Iran & Iraq, with a view towards stationing a pre-deployed set of armed groups of both persuasions along the Iraq border (learned so intimately in the old war there), to overwhelm US bases in Iraq, forcing the West to stand down, or escalate beyond credible limits of western cohesion among european nations.
A bold plan, custom tailored to the new anti-Bush political scene,
and growing up in its aegis.
The bombing of the Samarra shrine sets this plan back a bit, is what the article claimed.

Seems more like an unsubstantiated rumour to me. Which Islamic magazine?
